Case Description
I am a single mother of 3 children going to college and can barely afford my bills. My upper teeth are broken and rotting away yet I have no money for insurance or to get them fixed. I am in constant pain and can hardly eat. I have visited the hospital who gave me pain pills and then gave me a list of dentist who might help but when I called them they all said they only help children or they do not help at all. I cry every night in pain ..yet I see billions of dollars sent overseas to help ppl out and yet I cannot find any help for my pain. Can someone please tell me where to go for help so the pain will be over and I can eat again?

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

So sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. The problem seems to be that you need dental treatment, but do not have enough disposable income to afford proper care, so you live in pain. You are correct, and I see it too, we send tons of money overseas, and quite of few of the recipients spit on Americans, even after all of our help. We need to do some housecleaning here, first.About your problem. You may need to identify which teeth are bothering you, and go after those first. Dental schools usually charge very low fees for extractions, or try a local hospital that trains oral surgeons. Maybe a relative could help you out on the finances, or you could get a second job (although you're probably overworked as it is). Sometimes a dentist can help with the finances, with no interest. I have a few patients that pay me $20 per month, and I know they'll never pay off their balances, but I would rather treat an honest, hard-working person, who I know is trying, than one who skips out on their bill. It's not a sin to not have money, but it is to cheat someone. You might also look into pain study programs (at local hospitals dental schools, etc.) They are hard to find, but sometimes they need volunteers to "test" medications on. I don't suppose your local county gov't helps individuals like yourself, but sometimes Medicaidhelps with the costs of extractions (only). You might try joining a "barter" club where members swap services for free.Best of luck-
